We are providing a facility for you to advertise roles, and have no knowledge of who applies for roles or an active role in the application process. Therefore by advertising a role on this website you agree that you do not require us to provide you with copies of applicants' qualifications or authorisations, or references (other than as you may reasonably request after you have made a candidate employed by us an offer of employment).
You agree that we do not act as an employment agency by allowing you to advertise roles on this website, that we have no responsibility for the application of anyone who applies for a role advertised on this website, that it is your sole responsibility to determine that an applicant via this website is suitable for the role and that you have no redress against us as a result of an application made by anyone for a role advertised on this website. Bird & Bird disclaims all liability accordingly.

Bird & Bird assumes no responsibility for any loss or damages that may be caused to any equipment or software owing to any viruses, defects or malfunctions in connection with accessing or using this website, your material or the website content.

Our liability to you in connection with this website (whether arising from negligence, breach of contract or otherwise) is only to take such actions as are reasonably required (in our sole discretion) in order to remove or delete data entered in error, or remove or delete data that is the subject of dispute, or correct data entered in error.
Any disclaimers or limitations of liability on this website shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law in any jurisdiction in respect of relevant loss or damage in respect of this website, but nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits our liability for fraud or reckless disregard of professional obligations or for death or personal injury arising from our negligence or that of a partner, associate, consultant or employee of Bird & Bird or that of our agents or subcontractors or for any other matter in respect of which liability cannot be excluded or restricted by applicable laws or regulations.
In respect of the jobs marketplace, and without prejudice to the other provisions of this paragraph 8, any job advertisement found on this website is not, unless the advertised job is for a role at Bird & Bird, the responsibility of Bird & Bird.
